My dance journey
If you are looking for a truly passionate soul, congratulations, you have found her! This Swedish powerwoman has been crazy about dancing since 2007. With roots in vintage swing dancing such as lindy hop and charleston, experience in salsa and bachata, a hunger for learning more afrobeats, and a main focus on kizomba and related styles (urbankiz, tarraxo), she is a multi-faceted dancer with lots of personality and a highly developed partnering technique. A social dancer at heart, her goal in every dance is to create a story together, where each voice contributes and inspires: the leader, the follower, and the music.
As a dance instructor since 2011, she has had lots of time to hone her teaching skills. In the classroom, she is known for her technical understanding, her ability to explain abstract concepts in easily accessible ways, and her vocation to teach equally to both leaders and followers (helped by the fact that she dances both roles in kizomba). She focuses on core concepts that can be adapted by individual dancers to suit their bodies, and is especially passionate about guiding students to engage their whole bodies and express themselves to the music - both individually within the couple and as a unit.
