No dance partner? No problem! The course is designed for individual participation with the option of partner rotation, giving you the chance to dance and interact with different course participants. This encourages social interaction and helps you practice leading or following effectively.

For those who prefer, there is also the option to dance consistently with the same partner.

This is the next step for those who already have a basic understanding of Cuban Salsa and want to refine their skills. During the course, you will develop precision, expression, and elegance in your dancing.

We’ll delve deeper into techniques and combinations, and actively work on improving your ability to interpret and express the music through dance. The course offers a dynamic environment where you, together with various dance partners, will explore advanced steps and improve your sense of rhythm and body control.

You do not need a partner to sign up, as partner rotation is part of the course to promote flexibility and social skills on the dance floor. However, if you prefer to dance with the same partner consistently, that is perfectly acceptable.

Prerequisites for the course include prior participation in our Cuban Salsa Beginner Course, or equivalent experience from another school, to ensure you have a solid foundation to build upon.

Cuban salsa (intermediate/advanced)

For those of you who have mastered the basics and are ready for new challenges, our intermediate/advanced Cuban Salsa course offers the chance to deepen your skills.

The course is designed for dancers who wish to explore advanced combinations and improve their ability to improvise.

We will focus on refining your technique, understanding the impact of musicality on the dance, and developing a fluid and creative expression. The course gives you the opportunity to work on both leading and following techniques, which enhances your versatility on the dance floor.

Throughout the course, you’ll experience a mix of structured training and freer dance exercises, perfect for those who want to take their dancing to the next level. We recommend that you have completed our intermediate courses, or have equivalent experience from another school, to fully benefit from this advanced level.

No partner? Just like with the beginner and intermediate courses, that’s no problem here either. We practice partner rotation to broaden your experience and adaptability.
